2nd Chance Charity Riders

Thursday evening was another successful event for 2nd Chance Charity Riders at the Gunner’s Club.

Brantford’s Bike Night monthly show highlights local community charities, and brings multiple levels of entertainment for all to enjoy.

In the background, there’s the lovely sounds of Music by Monique.

Beside her stage, a barbeque offering hamburgers, and hot dogs manned by 2nd Chance Charity Riders.

Surrounding the parking lot were numerous local charities available to answer any questions, and share what specialty they offer.

Wandering about the event was Batman capturing the hearts of young children and  making adults laugh with his natural voice and friendliness.

Looking higher up, there were two very tall men in stilts!

The centerpiece of the parking lot had motorcycles of every kind, along with their riders happily socializing.

Steve Ferlatte, 2nd Chance Charity Rider, took great pictures of everyone.

Nova Vita was just one of the eleven local services on site.  When you see a purple tie like this one,  know it’s supporting Nova Vita.  Virginia Stewart, a Nova Vita client, is willing to share her personal journey from abuse to recovery, so stay tuned for those details.

The Navy League of Brantford showed their support, and pictured here are ASLT Teresa Liverance, and ASLT Gillian Cunningham.

Topher’s Beard & Soap Company keeps all those biker beards smelling great.

And yes, there were lots of motorcycles to see!

Although each service isn’t highlighted here, it’s wonderful to learn about so many organizations that help our community, and beyond.

October 18th is the next Brantford Bike Night at the Gunner’s Club.  If you know anyone in need of support, this is the perfect opportunity to connect with local services who want to help serve our community.
