On Thursday September 27, 2018 just after 1:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a report of an assault at a business on Dalhousie Street. The victim had been inside the business and waiting in line to be served. An unknown male entered and walked up to the victim and confronted him. After a brief conversation the accused proceeded to punch the victim in the face knocking him to the ground and then left. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the victim who had suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the altercation. Officers located and arrested the accused without incident a short distance away. A 21 year old Brantford male is charged with Assault.
