Ann Street Incident: On Wednesday January 9, 2018 just before 9:30 p.m. Officers observed a male in the area of Colborne Street and Stanley Street. Information was received that the male was currently bound by a court order with conditions that he was contravening. Officers spoke to the male who was arrested without incident. During the investigation Brantford Police received a report of a Break and Enter that had occurred on Ann St. An unknown person(s) had forced open the rear door and rummaged through the residence. Reported stolen were a number of items including a T.V., computer, money, jewellery and watches. While dealing with the accused he was found to be in possession of property (jewellery and watches) stolen from the Break and Enter. A 38-year-old Brantford male has been charged with Break, Enter and Commit, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00, Breach of Recognizance x2 and Breach of Probation.
