Type: Impaired Driver – Alcohol Incident:

Sinclair Blvd Incident: On Thursday January 10, 2019 just after 11:30 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Sinclair Blvd. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located a vehicle in the ditch on Sinclair Blvd at Shellington Place. Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle who showed signs of impairment. Investigation revealed the male held a novice drivers license. The driver was arrested and transported to the Brantford Police Service where he was to provide samples of his breath as required by law. A 21-year-old Brantford male has been charged with Operation While Impaired under the Criminal Code. The Drivers license was suspended for 3 days for a Novice Driver having a blood alcohol concentration more than zero.
