Brantford Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspicious male.

On Tuesday April 9, 2019, at approximately 5:45 p.m. in the area of Brantwood Park Road and Trotter Lane, an unknown male driving a smaller Silver or Grey SUV with a loud muffler stopped and spoke to a group of kids in the area. The unknown male spoke to the group of youths aged 8 to 12 briefly until an adult came out of the house and the male drove away.

The suspect male is described as white, in his 30’s, very short hair and wearing sunglasses.

The Brantford Police Service is asking the public for their assistance in identifying this unknown male/vehicle and to be aware of the incident that occurred in this area.

The Brantford Police are reminding parents to talk to your kids and to them to trust their instincts, if they feel they are being followed or someone they don’t know stops to talk to them or something isn’t right, seek help immediately. You can speak to a parent, older sibling, neighbour, teacher, coach or a police officer.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brantford Police Service at 519-756- 7050, or Crime Stoppers at 519-750-8477 or 1-800-222-8477. Alternatively, a web tip may be submitted at: https://www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=251
