On Thursday June 13, 2019 just after 1:00 p.m. Community Patrol
Officers observed a male riding a bicycle in the area of North Park Street and St George
St. The male was wanted known to be wanted on three outstanding arrest warrants.
Officers were successfully able to stop and arrest the accused without incident. While
dealing with the accused, he was found to be in possession of identification, credit cards
and bank cards that had previously been reported stolen. Further, the bicycle that he was
riding had just been reported stolen from a nearby school.
As a result of the investigation
a 24 year old Brantford male has been charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession
Under $5000 x2, Breach of Probation x3, Use Stolen Credit Card and Fraud Under $5000
under the Criminal Code. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
