Wednesday March 18th, 2020.

Members of the Brantford Police Street Crime Unit commenced a drug investigation which led to the execution of a Cannabis Act Search Warrant at a commercial warehouse located on Brock Street within the City of Brantford.

As a result of the investigation, officers seized approximately 3,675 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $927, 540 and four males were arrested and charged under the Cannabis Act Section 12(4)(a)- To cultivate, propagate or harvest, or to offer to cultivate, propagate or harvest, a cannabis plant that is from a seed or plant material that they know is illicit cannabis:

Accused #1 – 31-year-old male from Scarborough

Accused #2 – 27-year-old male from Toronto

Accused #3 – 23-year-old male from Markham,

Accused #4 – 35-year-old male from Toronto
