On Saturday May 26, 2018 just before 7:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a call from a concerned citizen about a pile of tools and other equipment found behind a business on Easton Road. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located a number of tools and other items behind the business. Officers located a male sleeping behind the business and investigation revealed that the items had been stolen. The items had been stolen from a business and from inside a vehicle on Copernicus Blvd. A 34 year old Brantford male is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
