Residential Theft – Albion St

On Monday June 25, 2018, Brantford Police Service received a report of a theft from a residence on Albion Street. The victim reported that he had let an acquaintance stay at his residence over the weekend. The victim went out for the day and when he returned, he noticed the accused had left and had taken a number of items from the residence, including numerous video games and gaming controllers and accessories. Community Patrol Officers attended to the residence and confirmed the theft. Officers were able to locate the accused, who was arrested without incident. Investigation revealed that the accused was currently bound by court orders with conditions; he was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. A 34 year old Brantford male is charged with Theft Under $5000, Breach of Probation and Breach of a Peace Bond. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
