If you know me, you know that for years now I have been trying to see a moose in the wild. Yesterday it finally happened! Ok, so it wasn’t deep in the woods whilst hiking, it was at the side of highway 60 going through Algonquin Park like pretty much everyone else has seen them, BUT I SAW A MOOSE! Granted it wasn’t the healthiest of specimens, sadly. Bit of mange, ticks all over it’s arse and ears from what I could see. Oddly enough I did not jump up and down with glee as I was roadside with a bunch of strangers who’d com from various parts of the world to experience the same thing….see a moose in Algonquin Park. It was humbling actually but a thrill nonetheless. I shall name him Bullwinkle.
