Ok, you will all be relieved that I’ve downloaded an app called #MerlinBirdID, finally. A big shout out to my friend David McKee for recommending it. It’s an app I have on my phone that identifies the bird by photo or description. Let’s hope it works…….here goes….
today’s bird is a female Scarlet Tanager. Bit more muted yellow in colouring.

So this little hottie was flitting about the trails with two really handsome looking male Scarlet Tanagers. Soon 1 of the potential suitors gave up and flew off. I left when it came down to just the two…didn’t want to interfere with the possibility of them hooking up. Happy Monday!
