On Sunday June 9, 2019 at approximately 6:00 p.m. Brantford Police
Service responded to a call about an assault at an address on Marlborough Street. A male
had attended to the residence and went onto the front porch. The male was confronted by
the homeowner who told to the male to leave. The male left the front porch but went to
the back yard instead of leaving the property. The owner again told the male to leave and
that’s when the male picked up a rock and threw it at the owner. When the victim
contacted the police the male confronted him, kicked him and fled the area on foot.
Community Patrol Officers attended to and searched the area for the suspect. The
accused was located and arrested without incident.

A 40 year old Brantford male has
been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault under the Criminal Code.
