On Thursday May 30, 2019 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Brantford Police
Service were conducting a separate investigation when they were approached by a
business owner regarding a suspicious male. An unknown male was seen hanging around
the business and had parked in a no parking area. Community Patrol Officers located and
spoke to the male. Information was received that the male was currently bound by a
court order with conditions that he was currently contravening. The accused was arrested
without incident. While dealing with the accused he was found to be in possession of a
large quantity of suspected Cocaine, Crystal Methamphetamine and Fentanyl (approx.
value over $22,000) and a pair of brass knuckles.
A 31 year old Brantford male is charged with Possession of Prohibited Weapon and Breach of
Recognizance under the Criminal Code. He is further charged with Possession for the
Purpose of Trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act x3.
