On Wednesday June 12, 2019, members of the Brantford Police Service –
Task Force conducted an investigation into a residence located on Colborne Street East.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed at the residence. During
the investigation a shotgun with an altered stock and barrel, shotgun shells, rifle rounds
and over $300.00 of suspected cocaine was located. Four individuals were located at the
residence during the investigation.

As a result of the investigation and search warrant
four people have been charged;

A 38 year old Brantford male is charged with
Unauthorized possession of a firearm, Careless storage of a firearm and ammunition,
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a firearm, Possession of Prohibited Firearm,
Possession of a firearm contrary to Order, Possession of ammunition contrary to Order x2
under the Criminal Code and has further been charged with Possession of a Controlled
Substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

A 46 year old Brantford
male is charged with Unauthorized possession of a firearm, Careless storage of a firearm
and ammunition, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a firearm, Possession of
Prohibited Firearm and Breach of Recognizance Order under the Criminal Code, he is
further charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance under the Controlled Drugs
and Substances Act.

A 32 year old Brantford male is charged with Unauthorized
possession of a firearm, Careless storage of a firearm and ammunition, Knowledge of
Unauthorized Possession of a firearm, Possession of Prohibited Firearm and Breach of
Probation under the Criminal Code, he is further charged with Possession of a Controlled
Substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

A 34 year old Brantford
woman is charged with Unauthorized possession of a firearm, Careless storage of a
firearm and ammunition, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a firearm, Possession
of Prohibited Firearm, Possession of a firearm contrary to order and Possession of
ammunition contrary to order under the Criminal Code, she is further charged with
Possession of a Controlled Substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

All accused were held for a bail hearing.
