Brantford International Villages Festival Returns

After a three-year absence due to the Covid pandemic, Brantford International Villages Festival has returned.

On July 5th, the Festival kicked off with 10 villages representing Hungary, Italy, New York, China, Poland, Ukraine, the Philippines and Muslim nations.

There was concern that they wouldn’t be able to get enough villages to participate since it had been so long since the last festival. There were some who wanted to host villages but couldn’t get enough volunteers to make it happen.

The festival ran for four days, ending on Saturday night. With this year’s success, the festival will go on next year.
