Gun Shot Investigation – Terrace Hill
On May 29, 2018 at approximately 6:32 a.m. members of the Brantford Police Service – Community Patrol Unit attended a location on Terrace Hill Street in relation to the sound of gun shots. Upon arrival police noticed bullet holes to a building and members of the BPS – Emergency Response Team along with K9 attended. Evidence was gathered from the scene by the Forensic Identification Section.
At this time there are no injuries to report and officers were advised a male suspect was seen running West bound up Terrace Hill Street. The suspect is described as having a thin build wearing a grey or black hoodie.
The investigation is in its infancy and it is unknown if this building was targeted. The BPS-Major Crime Unit is asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone who may have seen the suspect or who may have video surveillance in the area is asked to contact the Brantford Police Service.
