Stolen Vehicle – Arrest Made
On Monday May 21, 2018 just after 4:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a truck that had just been broken into on Chatham Street. Two unknown people were seen inside the vehicle and then going into the rear yard of a residence. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the vehicle. Investigation revealed that the truck had been reported stolen from Hamilton. Officers searched the area and located one of the suspects at the rear of a residence on Chatham Street. Information received was the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions as well she was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants from other jurisdictions. A 31 year old female from Ohsweken is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Over $5000.00, Trespass At Night and Breach of Probation. The accused was held for a bail hearing. Â
