Assult With Weapon – Breach Of Probation
On Sunday June 24, 2018 just after 4:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call from a business on Dalhousie Street about a suspicious male with a knife. An employee had been outside working when they were followed back into the store by an unknown male. The male proceeded to pull a knife on the employee. The employee tried to get the male to put the knife away, as she was unsure what his intentions were and she was concerned for her safety and the safety of the customers. The male left the store without causing any further problems. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the male. The male was arrested without incident. Investigation revealed that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions. Ross Reginald Roberts, a 48 year old Brantford male, is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of Weapons for Dangerous Purpose and Breach of Probation. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
