On Monday July 2, 2018 just before 3:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call from a residence on Farringford Drive. An unknown male had been in the area and was causing a disturbance. The unknown male then confronted a resident who was outside his residence. During the confrontation, the accused assaulted the victim and damaged his vehicle that was parked in the driveway. The accused then left the area. The victim received non-life threatening injuries. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they were able to locate the accused a short distance away. The accused was arrested without incident. A 40 year old Brantford male is charged with Assault and Mischief to Property Under $5000 under the Criminal Code. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
