On Friday June 29, 2018 just after 8:00 p.m. Community Patrol Officers observed a vehicle traveling on Wayne Gretzky Parkway. Information was received that the validation permit on the vehicle had expired. Officers performed a traffic stop and spoke to the male driver. Investigation revealed that the drivers licence was currently suspended. The driver was also unable to provide proof of insurance for the vehicle. A 37 year old Windsor male is charged with Drive While Under Suspension and Drive Motor Vehicle – No Currently Validated Permit under the Highway Traffic Act. He is further charged with Fail to Provide Insurance Card under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
