On Thursday July 5, 2018 just after 1:30 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call from a Motel on Colborne Street. The victim reported that two unknown males had just broken into his room and had stolen a number of items. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they searched for the two suspects who had fled. Officers, through investigation, were able to identify and locate the two accused that were in possession of the stolen property. Accused #1 is a 23 year old Brantford male who is charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Break, Enter and Commit under the Criminal Code. Accused #2 is a 47 year old Brantford male who is charged with Theft Under $5000, Break, Enter and Commit, Obstruct Police and Breach of Probation.
