Free Airshow for everyone
The Community Charity Airshow is returning to entertain, and amaze the people of Brant county on Wednesday August 29th. There’s a wide variety of airplanes to see at Brantford’s Municipal Airport located at 110 Aviation Avenue including the famous Canadian Forces Snow Birds, and the historic Avro Lancaster.
Gates open at 11 a.m. to view the parked planes, and the incredible flying show takes place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a free event, however, donations are welcome to support the Rotary Club of Brantford, and the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
Due to the surrounding road closures for this event, a free shuttle bus service is provided from the Brantford Bus Terminal from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., returning at 5:30 p.m. through until 6:30 p.m. Parking on site is $20.00 cash only. Additional parking entrances, and exits are planned this year to ease traffic flow. There are no ATM’s available on site so plan accordingly.
Please remember to bring sun cover, such as an umbrella, and sunscreen, as well as hearing protection. Also, pets other than service animals, are not permitted.
We’ve enjoyed this airshow for the past 16 years, and 2018 is sure to be the best one yet!
