Commercial Break And Enter – Park Ave
On Sunday June 9th, 2019 at approximately 2:17 am the Brantford Police
Service received a 9-1-1 call about a break and enter in progress at a commercial business
located on Park Ave. An unknown male was seen going into the employee locker room
and had broken into employee lockers. The suspect male was then seen by staff fleeing
the fenced compound. Community Patrol Officers attended and searched the area. The
accused was located and arrested a short distance away. While dealing with the accused,
he was found to be in possession of items taken from the employee lockers at the
business as well as a flashlight and other tools. The accused was also found to be in
possession of a small amount suspected Crystal Methamphetamine and Fentanyl.
Information was received that the accused was currently bound by a court order with
conditions.
A 27 year old Brantford male is charged with Break, Enter and Commit,
Possession of Break-in Instruments and Breach of Probation under the Criminal Code.
He is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance x2 under the Controlled
Drugs and Substances Act.
