Suspicious Person – King George Road
On Sunday June 17, 2019 just before 10:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service
responded to a suspicious person that was seen entering a fenced area behind a business
on King George Road. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they
located the male. Investigation revealed that the male had entered the fenced compound
and broken into a shed on the property. While dealing with the male, he provided a false
name to police and was found to be in possession of a small amount of suspected
methamphetamine. Information was received that the male was currently bound by a
court order with conditions that he was contravening.
As a result of the investigation a
46 year old Brantford male is charged with Break and Enter with Intent, Obstruct Police
and Breach of Recognizance Order under the Criminal Code. He was further charged
with possession of a Controlled Substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances
Act.
