63 year old St George male charged with impaired driving
On Friday May 4, 2018 just before 10:30 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a single motor vehicle accident on Golf Road.
Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the vehicle and the male driver. Officers upon speaking to the driver noted signs of impairment. The driver was issued a roadside demand to provide a sample into an approved roadside device. The driver provided a sample
which registered a fail. The driver was arrested and transported to the Brantford Police Service where he was to provide samples of his breath as required by law. The accused samples were over the legal limit.
The driver a 63 year old St George male is charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80. The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
