Bike Night – Giving Back

UPDATE: THE LOCATION HAS PERMANENTLY CHANGED TO THE GUNNERS CLUB AT 115 HENRY STREET, BRANTFORD.

“We’ve all been broken in life, and helping others is our medicine. It helps us heal.” Steve Ferlatte, a 2nd Chance Charity Rider, who’s hosting the event said.

Thursday August 16th, is the 3rd ‘Brantfords Bike Night’ located in the parking lot of the Gunners Club from 5 – 8 p.m. All motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome to bring their rides.

August’s theme is to raise awareness by showcasing Brantfords charities and non-profit organizations because awareness is key to help others. Come learn about eight different places to either help yourself, anyone you may know, or meet in the future. This is an opportunity to learn and share about Brantfords specialized services, it’s not a fundraiser.

The attending charities and non-profits are: Lansdowne Children’s Centre, Special Olympics, Help A Child Smile, Why Not Youth Mission, Crossing All Bridges, Yes Church, Desiree’s Ride, and the S.P.C.A., with more to come.

Other supporters include: Will Bouma, M.P.P., Dave Wrobel, Former City Councilor, Rick Weaver, City Councilor, Cheryl Didtrek Antoski, City Councilor, and Danno’s Black Heart Designs will be set up to custom stripe your bike on site.

Their next Brantford’s Bike Night will be September 20th. To learn more or become involved, please follow them on FaceBook at “2nd Chance Charity Riders“.
