Waterloo woman crashes her car into another’s to settle argument on King George Road parking lot
Dangerous Operation of Vehicle
Location: King George Road
Incident: On Wednesday August 22, 2018 just after 1:00 a.m. Brantford Police
Service received a 9-1-1 call about a disturbance in a parking lot on King
George Road. A male and female had been seen arguing and vehicles
were being smashed in the parking lot. Community Patrol Officers
attended to the area where they located the male victim. Investigation
revealed that he had gotten into a verbal argument with the accused; she
became upset and drove her vehicle at him where he had to jump out of
the way to avoid being hit. In the process the accused used her vehicle to
hit the victim’s vehicle. The accused drove her vehicle a second time at
the victim striking him and knocking him down. The accused then drove
her vehicle into the victim’s vehicle two more times causing damage to his
vehicle along with another vehicle parked beside it. The accused then left
the area. Officers were able to locate the accused and her vehicle where
she was arrested without incident. The victim received non-life
threatening injuries as a result on the incident. A 43 year old Waterloo
woman is charged with Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle,
Mischief Over $5,000, Mischief Under $5,000, Assault with a Weapon
and Fail to stop at accident. The accused was held for a bail hearing
