On Thursday April 25, 2019 at around 2:30 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a disturbance at a residence on Brunswick Street.

Two males were observed in a confrontation out front of the residence when one of the males started to assault the other.

Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the victim who had been knocked unconscious from the incident. Investigation revealed that the victim had been walking his dog when he was confronted and assaulted.

The suspect fled the area in a vehicle prior to police arrival. Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect without incident. A 63 year old Brantford male has been charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm.
