On Sunday April 28, 2019 at around 11:30 a.m. Community Patrol Officers were on Patrol when they noticed an individual known to them as having conditions not to be in the City limits. When Officers approached the male he fled into a motel room. Officers were able to locate the male who was attempting to conceal suspected drugs. The male was arrested without incident.

The accused was found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine (value $100), Powder Cocaine (value$60) and Hydromorphine capsules (value $400). A 33 year old Barrie male has been charged with Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation under the Criminal Code. He is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance x3 under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
