Port Dover Man Charged with Stolen Property | Richmond Street, Brantford

On Friday April 12, 2019 just after 9:30 a.m. Community Patrol Officers observed a male they recognized as being wanted on an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male had been seen by Officers loading property into a vehicle on Richmond Street. Officers were able to arrest the male without incident.

While dealing with the male they located credit cards that had previously been reported stolen. Further investigation revealed that the accused was in possession of tools, a laptop and a tablet that had all been reported stolen. He was also in possession of a small amount of suspected fentanyl. Information was received that the accused was currently bound by three court orders with conditions.

As a result of the investigation a 30-year-old Port Dover male is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 x2, Possession of Stolen Credit Cards x2, Breach of Probation and Breach of Recognizance under the Criminal Code. He is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
