On Thursday June 27, 2019 just before 8:00 a.m. Community Patrol Officers were monitoring and conducting traffic enforcement on Lynden Road. Officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Lynden Road. The speed was confirmed at 108 km/hr. in a 50 km/hr. zone. Officers performed a traffic stop and spoke to the male driver. While speaking to the driver he was unable to produce his driver’s license.

As a result of the investigation a 33-year-old Brantford male is charged with Speeding 108 km.hr in a 50 km/hr. Zone, Perform Stunt – Speeding by 50 or more km/hr. and Driver – Fail to Surrender Driver’s License under the Highway Traffic Act. The drivers license was suspended for 7 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
