Board of Directors Seek Candidates

We are tackling challenges confronting the developmental needs of our community’s children. Through corporate strategies and exemplary governance, we will address changes in funding legislation and dramatic waitlists requiring new facilities in order to achieve our mission.

 

You know our corporate mission is on behalf of children and youth with physical, communication and developmental challenges to realize their optimal potential.

Our Board seeks enthusiastic community members for 2-year terms on its Board of Directors.
Those with experience in the areas of not-for-profit governance and fee-for-service programming are especially welcomed.

The Lansdowne Children’s Centre board supports our exceptional staff successfully implementing our mandate.

Directors bring a range of personal and professional experience working together to govern our accredited Centre in annually serving 3,000+ children and families and planning its future space.

To reflect our catchment across Brant, Haldimand, Norfolk, Six Nations of the Grand River and the Mississaugas of the Credit, we particularly encourage individuals living outside Brantford, Indigenous individuals and those with family experience around special needs.

Selection is based on a fit with a matrix of current skills and viewpoints, complementary to current Board members. To submit your expression of interest, e-mail info@lansdownecc.com by May 7 2020.
