Brant Community Healthcare System Announces New CEO: Bonnie Camm
In a statement released to staff this afternoon, Chair of the Board of Directors Peter Quinlan presented the selected new president and CEO.
On behalf of the Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS) Board of Directors, I am pleased to share some exciting news with you all. After an extensive and thorough search process, I am delighted to announce that Bonnie Camm will be joining BCHS as our new President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 25th, 2023.
With over 20 years of experience within the healthcare sector, Bonnie brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our hospital system, with a proven record of success in healthcare administration. She has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our healthcare system and is committed to advancing our mission of working together to build a healthier community.
Bonnie comes to us from Grand River Hospital, where she currently holds the position of Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer in Clinical Services. Prior to Grand River, Bonnie held a variety of executive and leadership positions with William Osler Health System and University Health Network. As a life-long learner,she holds a Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business (York University), a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from the University of Western Ontario. She is also an active member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
Throughout her career, Bonnie has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient-centered care, operational excellence, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive organizational culture. Her strategic vision aligns seamlessly with our hospital’s goals, and we are confident that under her leadership, we will continue to thrive and excel in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community.

As we transition into a new era with the appointment of our new President and CEO, Bonnie Camm, it is essential to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Erin Sleeth for her exceptional leadership during the interim period. In July 2023, Erin stepped into the role of Interim President and CEO with grace, dedication,
and a steadfast commitment to maintaining the high standards of excellence we uphold at BCHS.
We look forward to carrying forward the positive momentum Erin has instilled in our team as we welcome Bonnie Camm as our new President and CEO.
